Hi there,
i tried to install the Hotfix for ISE 2.6 Patch 7 with the following error message:
Getting bundle to local machine...
% File transfer error
campus-0-ise1/admin# application install CSCvv41074_2.6.0.156-Patch7-SPA.tar.gz FTP
Save the current ADE-OS running configuration? (yes/no) [yes] ? no
Getting bundle to local machine...
Unbundling Application Package...
% Invalid bundle contents
Same on all customer nodes. I followed the README.txt. Same Output for patch install.
Any suggestions?

Hi Martin,
You need to extract the files which are inside the "CSCvv41074_2.6.0.156-Patch7-SPA.tar.gz" file. You'll be able to find an apply and rollback file:
ise-apply-CSCvv41074_2.6.0.156_common_1-SPA.tar.gz
ise-rollback-CSCvv41074_2.6.0.156_common_1-SPA.tar.gz
The apply file is the one you should use if you want to install the hotpatch via the "application install" command. There should also be a README file with further instructions.
Hope this helps!

- Make sure the source distribution(/file) is not corrupted and or verify md5-checksum (e.g.)

- Ok, you could if so desired try to execute an extra integrity check on the distribution file by unpacking it with winzip for instance.

Hi Marlin,
i have to go to primary school, to learn to read, again.
I didn't recognized the different file names stated in the README.
Thanks a lot for this hint, now it is working.
