Here is my problem. Why can I not log into the ACS server via ssh but I can log in to the gui interface on http?
I get the username and password prompt without a problem but it will not accept my username and password.
Any thoughts?
Thanks

GUI interface is for ACS. CLI is for the operating system (called ADE-OS). So those are two separate things, each one with their own users.
If you can't enter via ssh, you will have to insert your installation disc and then reload your appliance. After booting from installation disk you will be given the option to reset the admin password for console and ssh access.

Hi,
Since you are able to login through GUI but not through SSH access, actually the user for SSH and GUI access are different. So if we are not able to access the device with SSH or with console it will be necessary to make a password recovery. Here is the link for the user guide:-

The username for the http interface is acsadmin, the ssh username is admin. Give this a try and see if you can get in. If you still cannot get in then you will have to follow the link that Vinay provided in the previous reply.
