Cisco ACS 3.0

We have installed the Cisco ACS 3.0 server(evaluation copy), after the setup, we are able to authenticate the Shell(Telnet) users logging on to the NAS, but we are not able to authenticate the PPP users on the dialup, there seems to be no problem on the NAS & dial-up client as we tried the aaa local option, where the client is able to connect successfully. The problem is only with the PPP dial-up client getting authenticated with the Tacacs+ server. We observed the the failed attempts log of the ACS server and we found out that the failed error code is CS CHAP Password Invalid. Please advice.....

It is just a matter of correct configuration of ACS for CHAP users.. Here is the link which helps you for freeware tacacs.

For troubleshooting "dial in connections issues on ACS", pl. visit
