Cisco CDA virtual appliance install error: "Unable to detect any network interfaces"

I DEFINITELY have a network interface connected/powered on for the VM.  Anyone seen this type of error before?

I've tried powering it off, removing the network interface, readding, etc.

So I fixed the problem.

Using Cisco's recommended guest OS "Use Guest OS as Linux CentOS 4/5 32 bit" DOES NOT WORK.  I used "Other Linux 32-bit OS and it immediately started working.

I was able to get this to work with the Cent OS 4/5/6 version. I had to remove the NIC and then Add a new NIC. I found this by following the article:

• Cisco ISE is a 64-bit system. Before you install a 64-bit system, ensure that Virtualization Technology (VT) is enabled on the ESXi server. You must also ensure that your guest operating system type is set to Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 (64-bit)
