On Monday, July 7th, 2025 Cisco Umbrella will release Virtual Appliance (VA) version 3.8.0 to the production track.

On Monday, June 30th, 2025 Cisco Umbrella will release Virtual Appliance (VA) version 3.8.0 to the production-3 track.

On Monday, June 23rd, 2025 Cisco Umbrella will release Virtual Appliance (VA) version 3.8.0 to the production-2 track.

On Monday, June 16th, 2025, Cisco Umbrella will release Virtual Appliance (VA) version 3.8.0 to the production-1 track.

From Thursday, May 29th, 2025 till Thursday June 5th, 2025 Cisco Umbrella will release Virtual Appliance (VA) version 3.8.0 to the stage track in a staggered manner.

Virtual Appliance versions 3.7.0, 3.7.1 and 3.7.9 (Beta) will upgrade to this latest version 3.8.0

 

CHANGE SUMMARY (3.7.0 to 3.8.0)

  • Includes iptable rules to stop tracking DNS traffic, thereby preventing the connection tracking table from overflowing
  • New configuration option (via CLI) to support the new Saudi-preferred anycast IP addresses​
  • Upgrade of Base Ubuntu version from 20.04 to 22.04
  • Support for VMware ESXi 8.0 U3
