Hi All ,
I have Cisco ISE 2.0 where I am having ADMIN and Pearson and Monitoring node .
Recently I have change the GUI password from GUI my password got change and I am able to login via same password through GUI for all node .
but when I am trying to access the CLI with old and new password it is not taking the password .
where I have only change the GUI password but I don't know why cli password not working
any help appreciated in this .

Hi Amol,
are you able to set the CLI password with the same (old) value again? If yes, please try.
Try to set the GUI password to the old value and check if there is an effect at the CLI side (sounds strange I know).
If you change passwords and something doesn't work after that, try to revoke it. If that helps try to use an password with lower complexity and length. Increase the complexity and length step by step. My expirience is, a lot devices and services fail with a strong long password. Sometimes it works if I use the first 16 digits of a e.g. 32 digit password. Sometimes it helps to update the firmware (sometimes not). Be creative and good luck!

But i changing password of GUI why it is impacted to CLI password its really weird issue .
still struggling to get solution on this .

Hi Amol,
we had the same problem.
The only way to became access to the cli again:
Do a passord recovery with the iso image and after this configure on the cli a fallback user with the role admin!!
