Cisco ISE 2.6 Patch 7 installation

Can we install the Cisco ISE 2.6 Patch 7 through Vmware Console if yes, please share the steps.

CLI Command just use "patch install " & "patch remove" to install or remove patch.

@ilay, I can install the ISE patch both ways CLI & GUI. But I need to know how to install the patch through Vmware console similar to ISO image.

it can't update through vmware console

ISE is an application based on Redhat Linux, we can only see ISE CLI through VM Console after installation .We also hava no privilege get access the based linux system.

it can only be operated through Web Page or CLI. So ... there is no way to upgrade ise through VM Console .

I did this last year during ISE installation without network connected.

you will have to create .iso file from the patch bundle. Upload it to vmware datastore, mount it, create the repository CDROM via console and then install it from this cdrom repository.

and you are done
