Cisco ISE - licensing

Hi team,

How does licensing count when the same device is authenticated through both WiFi and LAN? Does it consume two separate licenses?

I assume it will consume two licenses when MAB is used since ISE can't know two MAC's are belonging to the same device. But how about the scenario where 802.1X is used, and the same identity (certificate) is authenticated on both WiFi and LAN? Will that use two licenses as well?

Is there any difference, license wise, when authenticating through machine cert or user cert or just user login?

First off all that is wrong, you need to tweak the configuration when the Ethernet available should disconnect Wifi where possible - on the end point, what is the need of connecting to 2 connection simultaneous ?

as per the License concerns its see as 2 MAC address depends on what kind of authentication you setup. so personally it take as 2 License count.
