Cisco ISE upgrade from 3.0 to 3.1 Patch 3

Hi All,

I am planning to upgrade Cisco ISE 3.0 to 3.1 patch 3. Anyone hitting any bug on this version and patch?

Please let me know if i can move ahead and plan for the upgrade into the production environment.

Hi,

Not sure if this was specific to myself or general observation but I did 3
upgrades from 3.0 to 3.1. Two of them had problems with application service
stuck in starting which needed a rebuild. The TAC case opened and they
asked to rebuild as the fastest solution.

I faced similar issues in the previous version and we had to rebuild the ISE. I wanted to avoid this situation as it exceed my maintenance window while troubleshooting.

Can you please let me know which method you preferred. Through CLI or GUI method?..

Any issues while working on 3.1 patch 3?

Hi,

I used the CLI method. It's more robust and avoids browser issues.

Not problems for me with 3.1U3
