DHCP renew for VLAN - Wireless / ISE

I have APs in flex connect mode and have all the related vlans/acls/aaa overide etc...configured on the WLC

Clients can associate to my SSID and get redirected to guest portal as per my auth profile, however once authenticated I am then sending a new VLAN id in the radius accept. The wireless client doesn't know about the new vlan. How are others managing to renew dhcp? Am I best keeping the same vlan and just sending a different ACL once authenticated?

Yes, use ACLs with no VLAN change. VLAN change in my experience almost always creates problems when allowing clients to get an ip address in the initial VLAN.
