Incorrect hostname and domain name on CLI preventing DNS lookup from working. Corrected the domain name and hostname but health checks within GUI are still showing failed and the old hostname and domain details...

- It's rather unclear what the real or effective problem is ; correcting a domain name and hostname is not related to dns lookup(s) ; you may want to elaborate ,

I have incorrectly set the domain name to say domain2.net instead of domain.1net. I have amended the domain within the CLI but the health checks are still using domain2.net
Same as the for hostname was set to P1- but has been changed to P2- and still using the old hostname in the DNS checks..

I would try to restart ISE services and if that does not help, I would try to reload the node before getting TAC engaged.

I was wondering if there was any resolution to this issue? I am experiencing the same thing on an ISE server that I deployed a couple of days ago.

Hi @kelkins ,
please take a look at: ISE - What we need to know about DNS Server, search for FQDN.
Hope this helps !!!
