I am planning to replace the current cert on our ACS 4.2 appliance. We use it to authenticate peap users. The question is: when I generate a CSR, will this affect the current certificate and cause an outage for peap clients until I can install a new certificate. My guess is that I don't have to worry until I actually install the new cert.... but I figured I should check

On my Windows ACS servers I can generate CSRs all day long without affecting anything. Not sure that it applies to the appliance.

The appliance is virtually the same.. it just runs a minimized version of the OS. Thanks for the reply! Also, I did get confirmation from TAC that generating a CSR does not interrupt service or affect the current certificate
