Email notification for sponsor created guest accounts

Hi All,

I am trying to configure email notification with username and password details for the guest accounts created by Sponsor admins. Please let me know whether i'll be able to achieve it by enabling the below setting if the guest email address is provided by Sponsor admin during the account creation.

 

Work Centers > Guest Access > Portals and Components > Sponsor Groups > Automatic guest notification

Yes, that is the setting that controls the auto guest notification by email. You should ensure that you have configured your SMTP server and reviewed the settings for Specify Email Addresses and SMTP Servers for Email Notifications to ensure they meet your requirements.

You might also consider making the email address a mandatory field on the Sponsor Portal for guest creation using the settings defined under Configure Account Content for Sponsor Account Creation.

You can see and modify what information is sent in the email notification in the Work Centers > Guest Access > Portals and Components > Sponsor Portals > [Portal name] > Portal Page Customization page under the Notify Guests > Email Notification section.

The Admin Guide includes a list of Variables for Portal Pages Customization. Please see the same section of the Admin Guide for more information and customization options.
