Guest Portal - From first login

Dear cisco,

We are testing Guest portal functionallity in ISE 2.2 Patch 8, from first login (Feature which in 2.0 production is not available).

First we create a new guest type "from first login", after this we go to the portal and create a new account. when trying to connect we get error "Account is not yet active" and when checking the timeframe of the account it says "90 days left", are we missing something??

Does the time on the ISE server match your local time/time zone?

We had similar issues where guest accounts wouldn't be active immediately after creating them and it was the time on ISE that was incorrect so accounts wouldn't actually be active for a couple hours after they should have been.

The time zone is the same everywhere : Europe/Brussels

We create a guest account (on first login) for 5 days, but in Guest account overview it states 90 days!!

Also it is impossible to activate the guest account

   !       
clock timezone XXXX/YYYYY

Hello everybody,

Timezone of system is ok:

clock timezone Europe/Brussels
!

Sponsor groups was already changed from "San Jose" to "Brussels"
