Our router is configured as a RAS using local usernames. I want to log user activity (log-on, log-off) but can't figure out how. I've been working with a test router (Cisco 2510) running IOS 12.0(17a). I've also been using a Windows 2000 workstation running a freeware syslog daemon as my logging server. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
Syslog will not give the details of the information you are looking for. What you need to do is configure accounting on the router and you will an accounting server to send the accouting records to.
Regards,

Thanks for the information. I'll head that direction and see what I can find.
