I am wondering if I have ASA 5510 Software Version 8.2(5) support periodical automatic password resets through LDAP for VPN users
A new user in AD was created and assigned appropriate VPN privilege. He was successfully authenticated via the web portal and connected to VPN.and assigned appropriate VPN privilege. He was successfully authenticated via the web portal and connect to VPN.
Then AD user account was set to “require user to change password at next logon” and then reattempted to authenticate. A message received was that authentication had failed
This tells that the ASA VPN is unable to allow self-service of user passwords.
