Hi,
When doing BYOD onboarding on Android devices, normally, we need to download and install the Cisco Network Assistant APP online from Google Play store.
I'd like to know if it's possible to pre-install the APP on the Android device, so there is no need to connect Google Play during the onboarding process.
Thanks.
Meng

You can pre install the app and manually run it during the BYOD process. It is a recommended way if the automatic install fails.
Thanks,

Hi Nidhi,
Thanks for the answers.
If we pre-install the app on Android device, does it need to connect the Google services through the internet during the whole onboarding process?
As you may know, all the Google services is blocked in China, so we cannot access any Google server, and there is no Google services and frameworks that installed on the Android phone in China.

It should be able to go through the flow if you download it before hand
You can try this in the ise mobility deep dive demo in Dcloud (for cisco employee) and partners
