ISE 2.4 DNA-C Integration

According to the ISE 2.4 Admin Guide (pg 62), there is a note in the details of the ISE and DNA-C integration highlights I've copied below:

"Note: For the integration to work, you must manually assign the pxGrid persona to the Primary PAN node as well as the Secondary PAN node (if used) in the Administration > System > Deployment page of the Cisco ISE WebUI Admin console."

Is this accurate, DNA-C integrations require pxGrid persona to only exist on the Primary and Secondary Admin nodes of an ISE deployment? pxGrid cannot exist on their own independent persona, as is supported with other ecosystem integrations with distributed ISE environments?

This is not true at all. The pxgrid persona can be on any of the nodes in ISE distributed deployment. DNAC-1.1 and above can detect the pxgrid nodes in the deployment and connect to it automatically.

This seems true earlier and might not be required any longer. We will confirm and update.
