ISE 3400 End of Support Dates Clarification

Hi,

The 2 key end of support milestones for the ISE 3400 series hardware in the End of Sale notice are shown below. Please advise on what happens after 31st  October 2019 (relating to application software), if a TAC case is raised on ISE. Will normal troubleshooting and support be provided? Or will only direct hardware faults be supported after this date?

Last Date of Support: App. SW

The last date to receive applicable service and support for the product as entitled by active service contracts or by warranty terms and conditions. After this date, all support services for the product are unavailable, and the product becomes obsolete.

Many thanks for any clarification.

hardware and software are different.

If a VM and running the correct resources and a supported software release then you are supported.

If your hardware is end of support it would only be related to hardware issues. or only security PSIRT issues with a supported software running on the hardware

I'm also curious about this. ISE 2.2 does not yet have an announced end of support date and it runs on the SNS 3400's. If 2.2 was running in a VM, then it's definitely still supported by TAC. This leads me to believe that there wouldn't be any issue getting support for the ISE, but I've been wrong before. Hopefully someone knows.
