ISE and Self Registration

Ciao,

is it possible to send user and password credentials, created by self registration, via mail or SMS ?

For example:

- user connect open ssid,

- open browser and ISE, after redirect, present http guest portal with self-registration,

- user compile form of self registration with email or phone fields,

- credentials are send via email (not displayed as default).

This was filed as an enhancement request and I think this was targeted for ISE 1.2.

CSCto15206    There is no option to Email/SMS after selfservice guest creates account.

Symptom:

There is currently no option to Email/SMS the guest credentials to a user after the user has created a guest account through self registration.

Conditions:

ISE 1.0.4 when using self service guest registration.

Workaround:

None, this is an enhancement request to have the ability to email or SMS credentials to the user after self service registration.

Is there any new information on this enhancement request? I have some customers that are very keen on seeing and implementing this feature.

User and password credentials are sent to guest via emailing, or texting when they are created by sponsor . For self regristered guest its not possible to send credentials via mail to text

Are there any information on when this will be available? Jatin stated that this was targetted for the 1.2 release and that there is a enhancement request. Is there a plan from Cisco to implement this with the next minor/major release? Do you know if there is a developers build available through TAC?

I think It is not available in ISE 1.2. Still in road map.
