I was working with a client to re-image his 3495 appliance. We created a bootable USB flash drive using Rufus 2.11. We formatted it as FAT32 and added the ISE 1.3 ISO as the O/S. When we booted the appliance and accessed the menu to choose a boot device, the USB flash drive was not an option. The client finally found a DVD writer and created a boot DVD. My question is around what format the boot USB drive should be. Should it be FAT16, FAT32, or NTFS?
Thanks for any replies in advance,

Prior to ISE 2.0.1, please follow the steps in Create a Bootable USB Drive to use iso-to-usb.sh to create the USB flash thumb drive to install ISE. ISE 2.0.1+ works using the generic tool.
