Hi,
I get the Guest portal page and my credentails authenticate correctly and the device is authenticated using MAB. Then i get this message
This device has not been registered
You need to manually configure your device
Your device configuration is not supported by the setup wizard
Device ID < MAC of my windows 7 PC
Any idea how to get past this stage
Thanks

Do you have the windows 7 operating system defined in the supplicant provisioning section? Remember you have to create a condition for the operating system, define the wizard for windows 7 and send the network profile.
Thanks,

Thanks Tarik,
I was following the ISE lab Walk thru classification series and this was probably done in some other section not shown. No, i do not have any of your suggestions defined. if it is not too much trouble, can you send me the menu path to perform this task for example Administration > identity management > identities. Something i can follow to acheive this or better still a cisco link showing the section i need to complete. Much appreciated

If you are only using mab then you will have to go the device registration page and register the mac address. Disregard my previous post. Here is how you manually register the device - http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/security/ise/1.1.1/user_guide/ise_mydevices.html#wp1064213
You will have to create the identity sequence store in order to allow your AD account (if integrated) to access the registration page - http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/security/ise/1.1.1/user_guide/ise_mydevices.html#wp1056461

i registered the device using https://ise:8443/mydevice link and it just sits there with a pending status. I go to identity management endpoint and see the device there with deviceregistrationstatus as pending.
I enabled self service and device registration for the guest also to test. The guest registers the device successfully, i see it as an endpoint in ISE, but still getting

Nkechi,
I wanted to make sure that you are using the correct mac address, also what is your authentication method...MAB? Do you have the radius probe enabled so that the endpoint can be profiled when mab is triggered?
Thanks,

also something i noticed when i use https://ise:8443/mydevice to register the device it shows pending. I then delete the device from endpoints, i then use guest self device registration, it says it registered device successfully and listed under registered devices. I look in ISE and deviceregistrationstatus is notregistered, different result from pending. Kind of frustrating not getting past this stage :-)

Under the web portal Management Guest setting i unchecked enable self-provisioning flow and now i am not asked to register my device as a guest on the network. The AUP appears and i accept. It all semed to be working, but now when i sign in as a guest, it says login successfull, retry original url request. when i do so, it takes me back to the login page, never allows me to browse the web. Sigh!!!

Hi,
Do you have COA enabled? Can you post the screenshots of the Authorization policies and the authentications that take place during this process?
Thanks,
Tarik Admani
