Folks,
do you have any experience with running ISE VMs on Hyper-V cluster. Is that supported setup at all ?
We are running 2 ISE VMs in primary/standby setup. We found that PassiveID function doesn't fail over automatically when primary node fails. Secondary node has to be promoted to primary for PassiveID recovery.
Promotion of the Sec cluster causes all services including essential Radius for few minutes.
Thinking of H-V cluster as the solution for outage free fail over.
Any thoughts appropriated.

Roman

Hi @RomanMikes95774 ,
take a look at: ISE VM on Hyper-V, search for Create a Cisco ISE Virtual Machine on Hyper-V.
Hope this helps !!!

ISE supports Hyper-V hypervisors going back to ISE 2.2.
Failover Clustering appears to be a purely Microsoft server technology/feature.
I do not if or how it works with ISE as a VM in Hyper-V.
