ISE Traditional Licensing to Smart Licensing Migration

I have already had TAC migrate licenses from traditional to Smart Licensing. Should I enable Smart licensing during a maintenance window? Are there any risks with changing the licensing from Traditional to Smart?

You can do this live without impact and I have done it many times now. If for some reason you have issues linking ISE to the smart account where the licenses now reside, you will have a new 90 day evaluation period activated to correct it.
