ISE VM license for AWS

I have ISE deployment on prem using physical servers.  Would it be possible to add one or a few servers in AWS and join them to the existing deployment?  I understand I need to get a VM license for each instance in AWS, but would I be able to run the AWS instances without VM license for 30 days?

You can join cloud nodes to an existing on-prem deployment as long as you have connectivity between them. The license should not be an issue in the technical sense during the grace period, but I would consult my Cisco account manager beforehand if I was considering this.

You want to add one more node to distribute deployment, check the RTT requirement.

i am sure ISE come with 90days, i do not see any limitation here technically.

How to Ask The Cisco Community for Help

AFAIK it depends on which AWS instance you will be deploying. On AWS you have multiple instances type such as c5.4xlarge, m5.4xlarge, c5.9xlarge, and t3.xlarge. The t3.xlarge is the evaluation instance which supports up to 100 endpoints only and it would last 90 days. Also, this instance comes with 4 virtual CPUs and 16 GB of RAM only. From connecting the cloud instance to your physical deployment, that shouldn't be an issue.
