nas resets on aaa server

On the accounting page of my aaa server logs i notice that i keep getting "nas resets" .

I understand that i can eliminate these by not using the single-connection option on the tacacs-server host command - even though cisco recommend using this option.

The question is what effect does a "nas reset" have and does this affect the logged in users page because this never seems to agree with the amount of callers that a show caller summary command tells me .

I was told that it was recommended to use the single-connection parameter unless your access server is so busy that the opening and closing of TCP sessions for TACACS+ traffic causes it to lag behind the actual connections. This will cause each TACACS+ transaction to create its own connection, therefore creating more overhead between the router and Ciscosecure server, but problems of this nature are avoided.
