Just wanted to check if there is any way we can trigger or push command on Cisco IOS devices to complete a specific task.
For ex: I would like to schedule a back up on a router for a specific date and time and I want ISE to trigger that command on the IOS so that BACKUP starts on its own. Idea is to manage such a functionality in a centralized way through ISE.
I don't want to configure backup on the IOS manually.

ISE is not the right tool for the job here, it cannot do that. You can do this with something like Prime infrastructure, EEM scripts on the router itself, other third-party tools, etc.

Nectus or Solarwinds can be used to push specific command scripts to devices at predefined time
