problem, with acs services

Hello Folks

I Have acs 4.2 installed on windows server 2003 , however the domain controller is windows 2008 64bit edition

the acs is patched with last patch for windows 2008 64bit edition ,witch is (15)

the acs is successfully integrated with ms AD as single sign on

in wireless i m using 802.1X based PEAP,the acs has certificate installed like self signed certificate ,but i face problem when i enabled the EAP-MSCHAP,the service stopped after check the EAP-MSCHAP , then i no longer able to start the service and even from windows service

after i uncheck the EAP-MSCHAP then i able to start the service again

which one of these are the new for win dc 2006 based 64bit

Release 4.2(0) Build 124 Patch 13

or

Release 4.2(1) Build 15 Patch 4

The latest ACS patch for win 2008 64-bit is Release 4.2(1) Build 15 Patch 4.

When you enable "EAP-MSCHAPv2" on ACS server, the service stop. Did you see any error message after enabling it ? What is the status of services on event viewer ? They are in "starting" / "stopping" status ?

no errors when y enable it

the status is in stop mode,

i m using domain user account on the member server ,and this account is member of administrator group on the member server local machine , does it matter? but pls note i have installed the acs with domain user account

Can you try to install acs software using domain-admin account on member server?
