"IIF-ID" in "show authentication sessions" output on Catalyst 9K

Hi;

Can anyone provide my some info regarding "IIF-ID" field, which is new in Catalyst 9K switches when running "show authentication sessions" command?

  • I - Awaiting IIF ID allocation—The IIF ID is a system-wide identifier for a session or any other object the platform must know about. The platform must have the IIF ID before proceeding.

How to Ask The Cisco Community for Help

IIF-ID is interface ID in hex

It not so important except case ypu use it in ISE policy
