Hi all,
I have an ISE appliance that is stuck while upgrading and TAC have advised that I should reimage the appliance.
Is it possible to reimage the virtual machine using the ISO?
The reason I ask is that, I have the ability to do this, whereas it is a bit of a process to allocate resources and spin up a new VM using the OVA.
Regards,
Brett

Yes, that will work fine. You mount the ISO to the cd/dvd drive in vcenter, then boot from the ISO. It can be helpful to modify the boot option boot delay to 10000 ms so you have time to open the console and hit the boot menu key.
Option 1 once you have booted from the ISO will reinstall the image and get you to the "setup" stage the OVA deploys at.
