Community,
Currently we are setup in the medium scale with 2 PAN's and 3 PSN's. On all of the (roughly 150) network device configurations, we have the PSN's listed 1, 2, and 3 in the same order.
I notice that the authentication latency sometimes peaks over 150ms with this setup. Should we be changing the order of these nodes to balance the load (ie. pointing one campus to 1-2-3, while another campus to 2-1-3, and so on).
Config:
radius-server dead-criteria time 30 tries 3
radius-server deadtime 5
!
radius server PSN-01
!
radius server PSN-02
!
radius server PSN-03
Thanks in advance.

So right now everything points to 1 as its primary? Yes it would be good to TUNE it by configuring PSN1 for 1 campus or group of sites, PSN2 for another and so on. This way all sites aren’t slamming one of the PSNs while the others are going unused.
