Smart Licensing Portal URLs

What is the correct Cisco smart licensing portal for registration, renew registration and refresh these days?  Currently I have:

smartreceiver.cisco.com

software.cisco.com

tools.cisco.com

tools1.cisco.com

tools2.cisco.com

I need to cleanup my firewall rules so can I just remove software.cisco.com, tools.cisco.com, tools1.cisco.com and tools2.cisco.com?

TIA

Just found it from Cisco documentation:  https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/security/ise/3-1/install_guide/b_ise_InstallationGuide31/b_ise_InstallationGuide31_chapter_7.html

I assume you're using Direct Https method in ISE to connect to Smart?

What version of ISE? In ISE 3.2 a tcpdump reveals that it's smartreceiver.cisco.com - your mileage may vary on other versions. The best way is to run an ISE tcpdump on the PAN and then click on "Renew Registration" button under Licensing.

@Arne Bier:  Yes, I am using direct https method.

I did check the DNS servers that the primary PAN is using to query for DNS and in the past six months, I only see the PAN node attempted to query either connectdna.cisco.com or smartreceiver.cisco.com.  I see this for both ISE 3.2 patch-4 and ISE 3.1 patch-7.

Therefore I think I can remove tools, tools1, tools2, and software from the list.

Thanks again

Here are a few general steps you can take to find the Smart Licensing Portal for a specific product:

  1. Vendor's Website: Visit the official website of the vendor that provides the software or service. Check the support or licensing section for information on accessing the Smart Licensing Portal.

  2. Product Documentation: Refer to the product documentation or user guides associated with the software. These documents often provide information on licensing and may include links to the Smart Licensing Portal.

  3. Contact Support: If you are unable to find the information you need, consider reaching out to the vendor's customer support. They can provide you with the correct URL or guide you to the right resource.

  4. Check Licensing Emails or Documents: Review any licensing emails or documents you received when purchasing or renewing the software. They may contain information or links to the Smart Licensing Portal.

  5. Online Search: Perform an online search using the product name along with terms like "Smart Licensing Portal" or "License Management Portal." This might lead you to the correct URL.
