Sponsored guest email notification sends duplicate mails

I'm configuring a new sponsored CWA guest solution in ISE 2.3.0.298 Patch 4. I've got everything working but have run into an issue with the email notification. Everytime an account is created the automatic email notification to the guest is sent twice. If I do a manual resend from the Sponsor portal the email is also sent twice. 

I have checked the SMTP server and can see two mails being sent from ISE so it's not an SMTP server issue. 

 

Anyone got any ideas?

This is due to SMTP server is taking time ( more than 10s ).

We have applied fix in 2.4 patch 6 as part of bug “CSCvf03310 ISE email notifications to guests sends twice email for approval and guest user”.

Please wait for 2.4 patch 6 release.

Currently we can’t give ETA on patch. If needing more support please work through TAC

Is there a bug id for this? I'm seeing the same issue in 2.4 Patch 5. Thanks.
