Super MNT - physical appliance

Hi,

We are planning to migrate from ISE 2.2 that running on 3495 which is really slow, yes, we did worked with TAC on many SR to get it to response faster without luck(100K endpoints), that is why we are migrating to 3595 that we already purchased(before 3695 released), so now our Dev. deployment running 3595 physical appliance, 2 Admin 2 Mnt and 30+ PSN,

3595 comes with 64 Gig of memory, which is 4 X 16Gig memory sticks, P/N: UCS-MR-1X162RV-A= ,

Can we add memory to 3595 to make it super MNT with 192 Gig (add 8 memory sticks), Will that void the warranty?

Thanks in advance.

Mustafa

FYI you can find more info about Large appliance (2.6 SNS-3695 VM and appliance) and SuperMNT (2.4 VM only). As @ldanny said can't add memory to an appliance

see table 4 - https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/security/identity-services-engine/data_sheet_c78-726524.html

more info on resources and super MNT are here under performance and scale presentation

It is not possible to add memory to appliance and super MnT is intended only for VM with 256Gig allocated.
