Hello,
I am new to Cisco ACS. The project is to upgrade our current ACS server 2.6 to ACS 3.3. I know that 2.6 cannot be upgraded to 3.3 directly.
My question is: How can I keep the current user database for ACS 3.3 use, so i don't need to configure all the user accounts in ACS 3.3? Is there a tool for database export from 2.6 and import into 3.3?
My second question is that we have 2 ACS server, one in US, another in Canada. We want the database to be synchronized, so people travels between US and Canada can get authenticated at both sites. I know that database replication can relicate the primary database to the secondary ACS server. Will this replication erase all the current database on the secondary ACS server? Or the replicated databased be merged into the secondary ACS's database?
Thanks a lot for any of your help.
Fei.

Hi Fie,
I can answer your first question, you can use csutil to export your existing database from 2.6 into a text file then use it again to import it into 3.2.
i have used this util in the past the clear out an existing database by importing a blank text file and it work fine.
The following URL should get you on your way.
