I am preparing to upgrade from ACS 3.1 to 3.2, but I have found a potential problem highlighted in the 3.2 release notes, could anyone advise please.
The hardware used is a dual Pentium processor, with 512K of RAM. The OS is Windows 2000 Advanced Server SP3.
This setup runs ACS 3.1 quite happily with no problems. My query is why do the release notes for upgrading to 3.2 state that W2K Advanced Server (or Datacenter Server) is not supported, when there was no mention of a problem in ACS 3.1?
Thanks in advance for any advice.

There were a few enhancements inevitable to be made, which in turn cannot be supported on W2kAS

I am too curious as to why Win2KAS is not supported. Does anyone know the technical reason(s). Perhaps a link to Cisco explaining?

I can understand that you got ACS 3.2 working on Win2000 Advanced Server, but would hate to get in a situation whereby I need support and Cisco tells me Advanced Server is not supported. Thus my, question still remains: What are the technical reason as why Advanced server is not supported?
