user attributes in acs 5.2

i am trying to configure reconfigure dot1x using single authorization profile for all Vlans.

i have added VLAN as a user attribute and specified vlan there.

but when configuring authorisation profile, when i try to select the user attribute in the common tasks, then i cannot find any attributes in the list to select from.

can anyone suggest any way to make it work.

My ACS version is 5.2.0.26.8

I am assuming you added this as an internal user attribute

If so, to select in the authorization profile you need to do the following

- by VLAN/ID Name select the "Dynamic option"

- You now can select the dictionary. Select "Internal Users"

- Now you can select which attribute to use. Press the "Select" button to do this

The user attribute will only be displayed if it is of type string

Thanks for the last line. i tried everything but it was not showing in the attribute list.
