Hello,
Cisco NAC Agent is configured for a user laptop in one of the campuses. Wifi is working perfectly fine for a partcicular SSID ( eg: SSID-X) , in the Office areas, but when the user moves to his residence, its gets disconnected and fails to work ( for the SSID-X)
.
But when the user tries connecting to other SSID's, it gets connected and works normally.
Is there any problem on the controller, or is there something missing.
Can anyone please guide me to a solution for the problem...????

It is only one controller? It is possible the access point in user's resident is joining a different controller.
What the exact message the user get when he tries to connect and fails?
What is your controller model/version?
Any logs on the NAC server for the user mac address?

Amjad

Hi Amjad,
There are 3 different controllers. Two Cisco 4404 controllers with versions V02 & V04 & a Cisco WISM2 controller with a version of V01.
When a user tries connecting to the particular SSID, in the residence areas , it says that
"Windows is unable to connect to SSID-X" . But it works fine in the office areas.
Regards,
Nithin.

Hi Nithin,
"Windows is unable to connect...." message appears on the client, right?
What appears on the NAC server logs?
