Hi Friends,
I am experiencing troubles with a 2960-L 16ports switch as I cannot ping it's management SVI ip address, from the core switch to which it is directly connected via trunk. Please find the following facts about my problem.
1. Switch is directly connected to the core switch via trunk, and management Vlan is tagged on both ends
2. Switch cannot ping Core switch's management IP address which is it's default gateway
3. Since start of issue, I have upgraded IOS from c2960L-universalk9-mz.152-5c.E to c2960L-universalk9-mz.152-7.E4 (issue still persists)
4. VTP mode is transparent
5. I have substituted troublesome c2960L switch with another switch (CE 500) and configured same parameters (Vlans, trunklinks, SVI same IP e.t.c.). CE 500 can ping Core Switch and vice versa.
Please help suggest likely solutions.

Thanks all. I managed to resolve this issue today.
Somehow, the 'transport input ssh' command was removed from the vty line. I found the 'transport input none' command in the vty line. Once I removed that, pings and remote management were successful.
@balaji.bandi Thanks for your support.
