I have a Cisco 2960 switch that keeps immediately errdisabling the port when a user plugs in his laptop. However, he can plug in the laptop into another port (configured the exact same) and it will work just fine. Also, on the port that keeps errdisabling, I can plug in my laptop and it works without it errdisabling. The user is using a usb ethernet adaptor to plug into the port, I don't know if that has anything to do with it. Also, the laptop is a foreign Korean based LG, and he is using a usb docking station with it. Thank you for your time and assitance in this matter.
