Hi,

I am getting the follwing error in LMS ver 2.6 and  not able to log in our cisco works server

"You don't have permission to access /cwhp/LiaisonServlet on this server"

Additionally, 403 forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an errordocument to handle the request.

I am using Cisco works common services 3.0.5

Please help if any body have seen this kind of errors.

Regards,

Ikbal C

Assuming you are on Windows, make sure you have the following services set like this:

CiscoWorks ANI database engine: Manual

CiscoWorks Daemon Manager: Automatic

CiscoWorks RME NG database engine: Manual

CiscoWorks Tomcat Servlet Engine: Manual

CiscoWorks VisiBroker Smart Agent: Manual

CiscoWorks Web Server: Manual

CWCS Cmf database engine: Manual

CWCS rsh/rcp service: Automatic

CWCS syslog service: Automatic

CWCS tftp service: Automatic

DFM dfmEpm database engine: Manual

DFM dfmFh database engine: Manual

DFM dfmInv database engine: Manual

If any of these are different change them.  You might also check if any anti-virus on-access scanning is enabled.  If so, disable it on CSCOpx and all of its subfolders and reboot.  If still no go, provide the below:

1. Full pdshow ouptut.

2. NMSROOT\MDC\tomcat\logs\stdout.log.

3. Screenshot of the error with URL you are using to access.

Was this working recently?  Were there any changes that could have triggered this (hostname change, upgrade, etc)?
