I couldn't add images from cisco switches to image library in Cicso works, it shows a message : "Image Import operation not supported". Why I'm getting this message, how can I backup switches image?
You cannot use CiscoWorks to import images from these devices in RME 3.5. However, this is supported in RME 4.0. See http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/rtrmgmt/cw2000/cw2000e/e_3_x/3_5/e3_5.htm for the RME 3.5 device support list. The SWIM support for the 3550 and 3560 series is footnoted with (5) which indicates "Software Management: Image library import from device, network baselining, and synchronization features are not supported."
The above link says that we can use RME3.5, if we install IDU version 12 it can support 3560 devices. still issues it can support few devices! If I upgrade to RME4 it can support more devices?

Some 3560 devices will still not be supported by RME 3.5 even with IDU 13.0. There will also not be anymore IDUs for RME 3.5. On the other hand, all currently shipping 3560s are supported by RME 4.0.
