I saw in many video streams, that a "Host" template is used to represent a local pc. I am missing it in my selection, having only NAT and Cloud there. How do I add it?

Just additional info, maybe not relevant:
I actually want to follow this instruction: (22) Connect your PC to GNS3 - connecting GNS3 to local machine - YouTube
I haven't managed it with WMware, since the ip addresses are changing dynamically. This is reported already here:
Cannot connect to compute 'GNS3 VM (GNS3-2.2.7)' with request POST /projects · Issue #2969 · GNS3/gns3-gui · GitHub
but none of the solutions worked for me. So I am trying to run the router locally without a WMvare.

Hello,
--> So I am trying to run the router locally without a WMvare.
Not sure what you mean by that. Post a schematic drawing of what you want to accomplish.
