Hi I'm using CiscoWorks 2.5 on windows 2003. after re-starting the computer the "Web server service apache" is not coming up.
I'm attaching the error massage for the same.
If any one encounter this problem before, please advice me.
Thanks...

This error alone is not enough to diagnose this problem. However, the most common cause of Apache not starting up on Windows is a bad PATH environment variable (this can cause a fault with if there are conflicting versions of libeay32.dll or ssleay32.dll installed on the system). Check your environment, and make sure the CiscoWorks components are FIRST. If there are any other path components before the CiscoWorks directories, move them after the CiscoWorks components, then reboot the machine.
If the PATH has all of the CiscoWorks components listed first, and this problem persists, you will need to gather the Application Event Log, and the NMSROOT\MDC\Apache\logs\error.log.

Hi,
Thanks a lot, I have verified the path, and set accordingely, now I can see the first page, when I'm entering user ID and password it says.
"You don't have permission to access /cwhp/LiaisonServlet on this server.
Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request".
now I cannot login to the server.
Thanks.
access /cwhp/LiaisonServlet

Again, this message alone is not sufficient for an accurate diagnosis. However, the most common cause of this problem is that you have changed the service startup parameters from the default. Using the following thread as a guide, make sure all of your services have the correct startup parameter, then reboot your server:
If this is not the problem, your best bet is to open a TAC Service Request, as there are three other things that need to be investigated, and they require some rather large files to be transfered.
