I have number of CBS350 series switches. My NMS, which is not Cisco brand, generates errors:
"Interface User Defined Port 1 of device at 172.18.136.71 and interface User Defined Port 1 of device at 172.18.136.84 have a conflicting IP address 169.254.0.1."
How I suppose to deal with it?
Thank you

it looks like an issue within NMS only; there is also a workaround provided, try it out.

- FYI : https://www.webopedia.com/definitions/apipa/
Make sure a unique address can be provisioned for different devices through a DHCP server,

Sorry, forgot to say. There is no DHCP server on the LAN.

- Then I suspect the IP settings on some of the devices is wrong or there is a conflict.

Switch management IP addresses are correct and different an it is visible in the error message. Obviously, APIPA address is same and conflicting. The big question is how do I disable it or change?

(172.18.136.72) CBS350-8T-E-2G 172.18.136.72 Cisco Switches
(172.18.136.86) CBS350-16T-2G 172.18.136.86 Cisco Switches
(172.18.136.87) CBS350-16P-2G 172.18.136.87 Cisco Switches
(172.18.136.83) CBS350-8T-E-2G 172.18.136.83 Cisco Switches
(172.18.136.71) CBS350-8P-E-2G 172.18.136.71 Cisco Switches
(172.18.136.82) CBS350-8T-E-2G 172.18.136.82 Cisco Switches
(172.18.136.81) CBS350-8FP-E-2G 172.18.136.81 Cisco Switches
I will clarify that *all* these switches have those warnings.
Now I found that each switch error has 172.18.136.71 as a conflicting device. Checking now 172.18.136.71 config and can't find anything which may cause that behavior. I will upload config if asked.
