I'm using 1841 router with QOS traffic shaping for a DVR to save data. because if no limit , it will use full Upload and Download speed (100mb and 50mb ) and exceed my quota given by ISP.
I have configured traffic Shaping for port 80 with 258 kb ( DVR video goes as http) and noticed that the pictures are getting hangs/freezes . and there is a delay. so I increase the speed and need to test it. also, I tried with traffic policying and set the limit by 256 and it looks much better.
Can you advise me, what will be the best QOS configuration for DVR? traffic shaping or policying
