Bind LMS 3.2 to an adapter

Hi guys,

We have a multihomed server and we have noticed that rebooting LMS sometimes results in LMS using the wrong adapter(ip address) for TFTP and SSH'ing to devices.

is there a way to manually assign Ciscoworks to use a single adapter for transport protocols like tftp,ssh etc?

This post seems to offer one approach to specifying a particular outbound source IP addr:

I'm curious though how LMS 3.1 and later chooses the primary IP addr it binds to, since $NMSROOT/lib/vbroker/gatekeeper.cfg is no more.

I wonder if your problem is due to not having DNS entries for all the IP addrs on your LMS server.
