Dears,
I met a trouble, i have 2 C9500 switches, model are C9500-24Y4C.
One switch has plug in mgmt port, another has not mgmt port.
Because we have process for buidling power maintanence, and then reload them.
After they reload(used write & reload commands), I can not ping the switch of mgmt port, and I used console connect to them, these C95s are show 「Standby console disabled」
Unfortunately, I have not backup config. How am i should troubleshoot it?

You post confusing here -
C9500 Standby console disabled - This is not expected - when you build SVL - Both Consoles are accessible and tested.
One switch has a plug-in mgmt port, another has no mgmt port. - when you Build SVL, Only 1 MGMT will be active, that is only Active ( when standby becomes Active the same Management will be used and the MGMT port get activated automatically)
「Standby console disabled」 - when you build SVL - the Standby console has limited access you can not make any changes other than some commands - this is expected behavior.
How am i should troubleshoot it? - what kind of troubleshooting are you looking to do ? SVL you can do all troubleshoot in active switch console or ssh .
Make sure when you connect the MGMT port to the OOB switch, make sure they both will be in the same VLAN and portfast.

Thanks your reply, i had troubleshoot it, because i connected mgmt cable, caused the C95s mgmt vrf can inter-connect effectively.
「Only 1 MGMT will be active, that is only Active ( when standby becomes Active the same Management will be used and the MGMT port get activated automatically)」
>>Yes, my idea as you. However the standby mgmt had not become active role. it is real.
so, the model is C9500-24Y4C, version is IOS XE 17.3.4 . i'm not sure is it software bug? these are C95s key config

Hello,
I am not really sure what you are after, can you post a screenshot of your issue ? Is the standby console enabled ?
9500(config)# redundancy
9500(config-red)# main-cpu
9500(config-r-mc)# standby console enable
01-08-2023 11:17 AM
9500(config)# redundancy
9500(config-red)# mode sso
these only.
I'm left communication room now, no screenshot.
when i console standby C95, i press any command and then enter-key, include「?」or「tab」, terminal always show 「Standby console disabled.」

There is no bug we noticed on this version, works as expeted.
I am more interested in the MGMT interface config (not SVL) - have you configured the MGMT config after SVL was formed, or before you make SVI as an individual?
However the standby mgmt had not become active role. it is real. -when did you switch over to standby, how is your MGMT config look like, and do you see MGMT port connected ?
Or you mixing 2 things here, MGMT and CONSOLE are 2 different ports.
you will not see anything on standby console, you can only do any changes on Active switch console.
also worth post-show StackWise output here when the switch over took place

「have you configured the MGMT config after SVL was formed, or before you make SVI as an individual?」
>>first, import config, and then install switches, last connected cable.
「when did you switch over to standby, how is your MGMT config look like, and do you see MGMT port connected ?」
>>
interface GigabitEthernet0/0
vrf forwarding Mgmt-vrf
ip address A.B.C.D mask
in 「show ip interface brief」, g0/0 is down
I know console and mgmt port are difference interface.

Not sure your reply jumbled not able to read correct answer for questions :
as per your output the port seems to be down :
n 「show ip interface brief」, g0/0 is down
You need to connect Acitve MGMT port and Standby MGMT both the ports to OOB switch ?
