Can I restore PI application backup taken from 3.1 to 3.2?

Hello! Can I restore an application backup of Cisco Prime Infrastructure 3.1 to a fresh install of 3.2.2? The documentation states that it is impossible to restore an appliance backup but what about the default application backup?

- I think you should be able to restore an application backup from 3.1 to 3.2
