can i squeeze flash via EPNM??

Hi,

I'm trying to update the image of the device software via epnm. The only step I still have to do on the device (CLI) is: squeeze flash:

The EPNM can: (delete the smart flash before distribution), but does not squeeze the flash and therefore still not enough memory.

How can do this step also via EPNM??

What device type are you trying to flash, Lina? How much flash do you have? What version are you trying to upload? How big is it? What model router? What version IOS? You haven't provided enough background for anyone to help you adequately.

thank you for the answer.

I was wondering, if the EPNM can -in general- do the "Sqeeze Flash" command?

the EPNM version was 2.1.2

the Device: ASR 901 Series Aggregation Services Routers

the flash had: 52,000,000 Byte

The Image Size ist (as the EPNM said): 43,000,000 Byte (asr901sec-universalk9-mz.156-2.SP7.bin)

But it could not been done until i enter the squeeze flash command directly on the router.

and as the router got 57,000,000 Byte. then i could Deploy the Image.

(I had also tried the "smart flash delete before distribution" on the EPNM)
